In 1960, the Dr. Cowman DDS office opened under Dr. Clyde Cowman who graduated from U.C.S.F. dental school in 1959. He practiced general dentistry at this same location, the corner of Grand Avenue and Fanuel for 38 years.   

His youngest son, Dr. Matthew Cowman followed in his footsteps and graduated from the school of dentistry at UCLA in 1993 and after graduating began working at other offices as well as his father's practice.  In 1998, Dr. Clyde Cowman officially retired from dentistry and Matthew took over the practice full time. 

The office has recently been remodeled and is equipped with digital x-rays as well as a lab.  The office continues to grow and thrive as we have many 3rd generation patients as well as wonderful referral patients.
